Coaching
Mark Bohls
Mark grew up playing basketball and playing music. He was introduced to volleyball in his years as a lifeguard, where they would play beach as part of their team building.
In 2005 he was called to follow the sport and left basketball. At Texas Tech he competed on the Men’s indoor Club team, and started competing in beach volleyball as well. Today he still plays beach volleyball competitively but focuses more on coaching.
Mark is a passionate teacher, learner, and Christian. His experience in his faith and as an athlete has called him to coaching, and produced a desire to serve. He continually works to deepen his own knowledge and experience of coaching and athletic performance to honor the blessing that coaching can be, and be a testimony to the athletes he is blessed to work with.
Outside of volleyball Mark is married to wife Cynthia (who he met coaching) with 3 children, Millie, Fisher, and Nolan.
