Coaches
Our Coaches have a great deal of experience as athletes, as beach volleyball and indoor coaches, and in athletic training.
Coach
Mark Bohls
As a competitor Mark was pure basketball growing up in Carrollton, TX. After High School he earned a scholarship to play D1 ball at Temple University in Philadelphia, while also pursuing a Bachelor and Master degrees in Music Performance.
Mark was led to volleyball in 2005 and fell in love with the sport. After transferring to Texas Tech he started competing on the Men’s Club team, and in beach volleyball. Today he still plays beach volleyball competitively but focuses more on coaching athletes in both indoor and beach, which is a testament to a journey that has brought him great joy.
Mark is a passionate teacher, and learner. His experience as an athlete has called him to coaching and produced a desire to serve other athletes at every level. He continually works to deepen his own knowledge and experience of coaching and athletic performance for that same purpose and passion.
Outside of volleyball Mark is blessed to be married with 2 children, and one on the way. He is also a private teacher, and has been teaching in DFW schools since 2008.
